MAGIC ELECTRIC CAN BE EQUIPPED WITH 2 DIFFERENT TYPES OF MAGAZINES:

SINGLE-COLUMN MAGAZINE, has a table that can be manually tilted from 1° to 20°, 1600 mm wide with a loading depth of 800 mm bars where the bars are placed on a single column. This type of magazine can process lengths from a min of 200mm to a maximum 1600mm for diameters ranging from 8mm to maximum lathe spindle diameter. The process bar diameter is automatically adjusted by setting the loader PLC. Proximity sensors check for on the magazine and a fence protects the loading area so that the operator cannot access areas with moving parts. The customer can request a magazine cover with plastic polythene material in order not to ruin the processed material. MULTI-COLUMN MAGAZINE, has a manually adjustable table that tilts from 1° to 20°, 1600 mm wide with a bar unloading depth of 650 mm where the pieces are placed on multiple columns to cover the total length of 1600mm. This type of magazine can have a maximum of three columns and allows pieces from a min 200mm to a max 1600mm to be processed:

• with 1 column it can work from 200mm to 1600mm
• with 2 columns it can work from 200mm to 720mm
• with 3 columns it can work from 200mm to 450mm

This type of magazine allows diameters ranging from 8mm to maximum lathe spindle diameter to be processed. AUTOMATIC MANAGEMENT

The MAGIC bar feeder is completely managed by the PLC interacting with a Brushless motor and a pneumatic valves system which controls speed, thrust and all the automations. From the PLC the operator can shift from one diameter to another one in 60 seconds, simply entering the intended diameter on the keyboard

MAGIC ELECTRIC CAN BE EQUIPPED WITH 3 DIFFERENT TYPES OF LATHE LOADER INTERFACES::

COVER SHEET METAL TUBE, is a 200mm diameter 500mm long sheet metal tube that can be secured on the front loader head. Its function is to cover any distance between loader and lathe so that the operator does not have access to areas with moving parts (it has no structural characteristics). ADJUSTABLE ROLLER CONVEYOR, is an extension of the loader secured to the front head which can be manually adjusted in height to support the bar diameter that is being processed, It is available in three lengths 200-400-600mm and has an upper casing that prevents the operator from accessing areas which have moving parts. Necessary for those lathes that have a spindle inside the bodywork to support the loader output bar up to the spindle input. MAGIC SELF-CENTRING BUSHING SYSTEM, is a system that the customer can purchase separately and allows those lathes that have a spindle of less than 1200mm to process bars up to a length of 1600mm supporting the rotation of the bar portion that will protrude from the back of the spindle. MAGIC SELF-CENTRING BUSHING is a system that supports the guide bar reduction through the self-centring hold of 6 bearings that allow it to rotate and stabilise the bar being processed, the reduction must have an internal diameter of 3 to 5 mm larger than the bar being processed.

DRIVE SYSTEM

In order to ease the spindle liners insertion,
the bar feeder is equipped with a rail system that enables at 800 mm (31.49”) radial or axial displacement (alternative option), helping also the lathe servicing. The bar feeder fastening, on its rails, is provided by fast block hooks.

ADJUSTABLE GUIDE CHANNEL

The bar feeder channel is mobile, allowing to process bar diameters ranging from 8 mm (0.31”) up to 100 mm (3.93”); the system is managed by the PLC. The channel is entirely made in special plastic material, in order to grant a smooth and silent bar scrolling.
