MATRIX CAN BE EQUIPPED WITH 2 DIFFERENT TYPES OF MAGAZINES:

HIGH SINGLE LEVEL, has a single loading plane of 150mm positioned at guide channel height that is manually adjusted to the process bar diameter via micro metric screw. To guarantee operator safety, the high single level is protected by the front loader door which, when opened by means of a safety hinge, inhibits dangerous movements. JOG SINGLE LEVEL, has a single loading plane of 130mm positioned at the height of the guide channel that is automatically adjusted by PLC to bar diameter where a wheel individually divides the bar to be loaded for diameters 3-4-5 mm. To guarantee operator safety, the high single level is protected by the front loader door which, when opened by means of a safety hinge, inhibits dangerous movements.

AUTOMATIC MANAGEMENT

MATRIX loader management is entrusted to a PLC touch-screen, which interacts with a Brushless motor and solenoid valves, to regulate feed speed, thrust force and all the automations.

MATRIX CAN BE EQUIPPED WITH 3 DIFFERENT TYPES OF LATHE LOADER INTERFACES:

STAGED TELESCOPIC TUBE: direct interface between loader and lathe. This system has the possibility of lengthening and shortening in order to be able to follow the movements of the sliding head spindle and its last stage has a diameter equal to the maximum passage of the loader bar. HYBRID BUSHING: this type of lathe loader interface can be installed upon customer request. A pneumatic system of interchangeable oil-bath polyurethane bushings which support the rotating bar outside the loader. This type of bushing is anchored to the back of the sliding head spindle and, since joined, it moves back and forth on the basis of sliding head movements. Necessary for those lathes that have the double possibility of working bushing/no bushing. CENTRING DEVICE: this type of lathe loader interface can be installed upon customer request. A system of interchangeable bushings with mechanical opening that can rotate up to the same rpm of the lathe spindle and support the rotating bar outside the loader. This type of centring device is anchored to the back of the sliding head spindle and, since joined, it moves back and forth on the basis of sliding head movements. Necessary for those sliding head lathes that have the double possibility of working bushing/no bushing.

MATRIX HAS 2 TYPES OF TRACKING FOR THE SLIDING HEAD AXIS:

  1. electric axis mode: Tracking by magnetic strip and encoder.
  2. mechanical connection mode: Tracking by pneumatic clutch with teeth and mechanical arm.

FRONT BUSHING

MATRIX has an interchangeable bushing every 3mm at the front of the loader: thanks to this device, it is possible to achieve high bar rotation performance.

GUIDE CHANNEL

MATRIX has a channel composed of quickly interchangeable guides based on the bar diameter to be processed. The guides, with a “u” section made of polyurethane material, are high performance to process bars at high rotation speeds.

SEGMENT MANAGEMENT

MATRIX has two types of segment management: 1) Back extraction performed by means of a self-centring extractor, which allows the piece inside the magazine to be extracted and expelled into the special recovery tank.
This type of extraction does not require any adjustment and setting as the extractor is self-centring and allows for a standard piece of maximum 320mm to be extracted. 2) Front ejection performed by ejecting the segment from the front of the lathe clamp, pushing the segment to be unloaded with the load of the new bar in the lathe clamp. It is used to work bars of maximum diameter with respect to the lathe spindle turn buckle as there would be no space to grasp the bar with the elastic clamp on the outside of the diameter.

LANCE SYSTEM

MATRIX has a retractable lance that allows you to maintain reduced measurements on the total length of the loader by hooking it to the cover during bar change. The lance has a front rotor where the elastic bar clamp is mounted and allows rotation at the same rpm as the lathe spindle.

ELECTRIC PANEL / INTERFACE

MATRIX includes an electrical system entirely designed and assembled in Top Automazioni with high quality brands such as: Phoenix, Eaton, Esa, Siboni. TOP AUTOMAZIONI includes any interface required by the lathe on its loaders wired to the specifications of the lathe manufacturers such as: 24-pole interface, profibus interface, ethercat interface, modular multipolar interface.

SEGMENT UNLOADING

MATRIX has a piece unloader on the front of the loader where they are collected by fall into a 200x200x600 size tank. This tank is located inside a door that protects against oil splashes and its opening allows for tank extraction to be emptied.

OIL PUMP AND FILTER

For guide channel lubrication, MATRIX includes a gear pump with a capacity of 7.5 litres connected to a 90 micron filter that cleans the oil before putting it into circulation in the hydraulic system. The filter is easily reachable to perform periodic cleaning, which is indicated by a vacuum gauge indicator.

Restore

MATRIX is an automatic loader suitable for lathes with sliding head. It can work bars up to 25mm in diameter and is available in different 3000-4000 mm length versions.

MATRIX is an automatic loader for a very fast and precise sliding head and has a lower guide channel with a “u” section in oil bath polyurethane that can be quickly replaced thanks to its quick release system.

MATRIX has an interchangeable front bushing with a half-round section that guides bar rotation. This loader version can also be equipped with bar support systems off the loader as a hybrid bushing and rotating centring device that support the bar at the loader outfeed to allow maximum work performance at high revolutions.

To replicate the movements of the sliding head spindle, MATRIX is equipped with an innovative electronic tracker that uses an encoder to move the loader axis in a precise and rapid way, copying the movements of the sliding head lathe.

MATRIX has to load magazine versions, high single level and wheel magazine that allows you to precisely cut and divide the bars with a diameter of 3-4-5.
