THIN DIAMETERS MACHINING

During the machining of thin bars, INFINITY provides to replace the pusher with another made in 2 different diameters (Top Automazioni Patent). This technology, combined with the usage of proper reduction liner, allows the efficient turning without the replacement of the full guide channel to fit the right bar’s dimension.

LANCE SYSTEM

INFINITY has a pusher working into a round designed channel made of Vulkollan. During the loading of the bar it is lifted by a set of brackets (Top Automazioni Patent) to keep the channel clear. The pusher is supported in its travelling by a prismatic ball recirculation guide, that makes the feeding operations exceptionally performing.

OIL PUMP AND FILTER

For guide channel lubrication, INFINITY includes a gear pump with a capacity of 7.5 litres connected to a 90 micron filter that cleans the oil before putting it into circulation in the hydraulic system.

The filter is easily reachable to perform periodic cleaning, which is indicated by a vacuum gauge indicator.

SEGMENT UNLOADING

INFINITY has a segment unloader on the back of the bar loader where they are collected in a 200x200x850 tank.

ELECTRIC PANEL / INTERFACE

INFINITY includes an electrical system entirely designed and assembled in Top Automazioni with high quality brands such as: Phoenix, Eaton, Mitsubishi.

TOP Automazioni includes any interface required by the lathe on its loaders wired to the specifications of the lathe manufacturers such as: 24-pole interface, profibus interface, ethercat interface, modular multipolar interface.

AUTOMATIC MANAGEMENT

The full management of the bar loader is entrusted to a PLC touch screen. The electronic interacts with a brushless motor and digital solenoid valves, which set torque and speed of feeding, as well as all the operative functions of the machine.

The steady blocks set in the bar’s channel, are automatically adjusted in only 60 seconds by the PLC, according to the new diameter of the machined bar.

SEGMENT MANAGEMENT

INFINITY has two types of segment management:

  1. Back extraction performed by means of a foldaway self-centring and self-adjusting extractor (Top Automazioni Patent).
  2. Front ejection.

INFINITY is equipped with 2 different types of magazines:

  1. High single level, has a single level loading surface 285 mm deep with an inclination of 12°.
  2. Pilgrim (or step-by-step) single level, 265 mm surface capacity. Max reliability with diameters Ø3 – Ø4 – Ø5 – Ø6 – Ø7.

These two magazines co-exist and are entirely managed by the PLC

INFINITY can be equipped with 3 different types of lathe loader interfaces:

STAGED TELESCOPIC TUBE: direct interface between loader and lathe. This system has the possibility of lengthening and shortening in order to be able to follow the movements of the sliding head spindle and its last stage has a diameter equal to the maximum passage of the loader bar.

HYBRID BUSHING: this type of lathe loader interface can be installed upon customer request. A pneumatic system of interchangeable oil-bath polyurethane bushings which support the rotating bar outside the loader. This type of bushing is anchored to the back of the sliding head spindle and, since joined, it moves back and forth on the basis of sliding head movements. Necessary for those sliding head lathes that have the double possibility of working bushing/no bushing.

CENTRING DEVICE: this type of lathe loader interface can be installed upon customer request. A system of interchangeable bushings with mechanical opening that can rotate up to the same rpm of the lathe spindle and support the rotating bar outside the loader. This type of centring device is anchored to the back of the sliding head spindle and, since joined, it moves back and forth on the basis of sliding head movements. Necessary for those sliding head lathes that have the double possibility of working bushing/no bushing.

ADJUSTABLE GUIDE CHANNEL

INFINITY has an entirely adjustable mm X mm bar guide channel, through the PLC keyboard (Top Automazioni Patent). The guide channel is made of Vulkollan plastic material, in which the bars rotate in an oil bath.

 

BUSHING FOR HEXAGONAL BAR PROCESSING

For customers who need to work large quantities of hexagonal bars, it is possible to mount the special hexagon bushing, which guarantees an even firmer grip, thanks to the precise round section on the diameter of the hexagon.

INFINITY can be equipped with two different type of Swiss Type tracking:

  1. ELECTRONICAL: performed by means of an encoder and a magnetic band
  2. MECHANICAL: performed by means of a pneumatic clutch
